Tonight, we will begin two new MidWeek Classes and continue our DivorceCare. Please see the class descriptions below:

Extraordinary God – Taught by Jim Christman – Rm 105

Join us for a five-week DVD driven study as Pastor Allen Jackson tours through Israel revealing an Extraordinary God and how God has revealed himself as the Almighty God, as Redeemer, as the Revealer, as a Rewarder, and what he requires of each of us. It’s an exciting series you won’t want to miss. There may be a minimal cost for the book. There will be a lot of good discussion. You’ll be glad you came.

Who’s Your ONE Prayer PlusTaught by Sherman Boyd and Josh Phillips – Rm 212

Join us for a five-week class in which we will focus on finding your ONE, praying for your ONE, planning, preparing, and learning to share the gospel.

DivorceCare: Find Help and Healing Amid Divorce – Taught by Jonathan Taylor – Rm 207

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are among one of, if not the absolute, most painful and stressful experiences of their lives. It is a chaotic time that feels isolating, breeding questions about issues you have never faced before. DivorceCare is made up of a group of friendly, caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. There is no need to go through it alone. Our seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You will learn how to heal from the wounds of divorce and discover hope for your future. DivorceCare will be held at CrossWay on Wednesday nights at 6pm. The cost for the class is $20 for books, due at the first class.

Our Women's Ministry is working very hard to ensure we have great opportunities to come together as the ladies of the church. Please take a few moments to fill out their 2019 Interest Survey. By doing so, you will be helping them plan for the future of our Women's Ministry here at CrossWay.

In Titus 2, older ladies are instructed to invest in the lives of younger ladies. TLC Prayer Partners will provide that opportunity. TLC, The Ladies CrossWay, will pair two ladies of different ages to pray for each other for a period of six months. The idea is simply to encourage and pray for each other. It will be up to individual pairs if they want to expand the relationship. TLC could also stand for Titus Ladies Connecting. Let’s be encouragers across the generations. Sign up’s will occur during    October, with pairings given in November. We will pray for each other for six months, and do new pairings after that time. Please consider being a part of this prayer opportunity. If you have any questions, please contact Vicki Layne at Look for the insert in your bulletin or contact the church office to sign up.

In preparation for our Christmas Services, the CrossWay Choir will be practicing every Sunday at 5pm. If you want to join the choir or for more information, please contact Kelvin Cerezo.

This Christmas, CrossWay has the opportunity to partner with DCS, Mission Point, and the Concord Baptist Association to help provide Christmas presents for DCS kids in foster care. Last year there were 190 children in DCS care, this year there are 250 children who need help. The ages of these children range from birth to 17yrs old; a great number of them are teenagers. Please begin planning for this event and praying for the child/children for whom you will help provide Christmas presents. More information will be available soon.

The Concord Baptist Association’s Annual Meeting will be held at Lascassas Baptist Church on Monday, October 21st at 5:30pm. The cost is $5 and will cover dinner. If you would like to attend, please register at
